Diffrent Methods Of Presenting A Speech

This lecture introduces the students to different ways of delivering a speech and speech topics to be used in their second exam.The lecture starts with a focus on self-introduction as a topic for presenting, and different methods for introducing the self through speech are tackled. The first one is a picture story method, in which the teacher shows a few pictures that talk about her life. The students are asked afterwards to choose a photo from their phonesto tell their group what it represents for them. The second method is the old bag, through which the teacher shows the students an old bag with different personal stuff related to the past, present, and future as an example to introduce oneself. The third method isthe preparation worksheet. This method is a traditional one, as it represents list of basic questions about ones-self. After the teacher shows the third method, each student in each group is asked to stand in front of his/her group to answer a number of basic introduction questions to train for their second exam. The lecture ends with some feedback on the grammar of the verb like, which the students misused in their practice in the previous lecture
