
Course Description
This course provides an overview of the develoment & the integration of Knowledge in the biological, behavioral, and psychological and social sciences that are relevant to health and illness.
The Focus is on the basic theoretical and major practical aspects and complexities of health practioners performance with others concerning their health issues. The course will highlight ways in which the specialist-patient relationship is at the core of medical care and is significantly impacted by the cultural background, history, and current status of the patient and the self-awareness, attitude, & the professionality of the physician. The course explores number of social psychological dynamics to medical behavioral issues as it tackles number of topics such as the holistic model, human development, addictions, quality life management, stress & work, chronic diseases,& eating, sleeping & sex.
