Writing Reports Outline

This lecture is divided into two sections. In the first section, we discuss the format of the section titles and we apply automatic numbering for each main and sub-section by editing their style in Microsoft Word. In the second section, we have a discussion of the type of topics the students will be working on for their report writing assignment. We particularly discuss the different methods one can use for information gathering depending on the nature of the topic of the report. The students are encouraged to design an outline for their reports including their main sections and subsections before they start the actual writing process.
