How To Build Your Cv

The purpose of this lecture is to familiarize students with the basics of building a professional CV and the main categories that need to be present in a CV. These main categories are outlined by use of examples taken from real CV samples. This lecture also includes a discussion of the general characteristics of a good CV from an employer’s point of view. Particular attention is paid to the general organization of a CV written according to the American style. The students are encouraged to begin working on their own CVs following the examples provided in the lecture
