Useful Phrases For Complaint Letter
This lecture is divided into two halves. In the first half, students are introduced to useful phrases they can use in the different paragraphs within a complaint letter. In doing so, we discuss a checklist that cover all elements of a good complaint letter. The phrases discussed in this class can sometimes be used interchangeably, but the intention is to have a diverse list of phrases students can use when they introduce their complaint letters. In the second half, we evaluate another CV a student wrote as part of her first exam.
How To Write A Complaint Letter
In this lecture, students are introduced to the process of writing complaint letters. In particular, we have a discussion on when and why it is important to write complaint letters. We highlight the structure of a good complaint letter by emphasising the elements that should appear in each paragraph within the complaint letter. We take the example of purchasing a faulty phone in our discussion.
