In this lecture, we continue our discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of email communication. We also emphasize the importance of considering the audience in the process of drafting and sending out emails. That is, based on the type of audience an email is sent to, the wording of the email and the tone of the language used will be different. We therefore highlight that a decision to use formal or informal language should be taking when writing an email based on the identity/nature of the audience.
